As we get closer to possibly one of the biggest drafts this decade we decided to do a mock draft, players we think are gonna be drafted in this order. So get ready for a long ride of players.
Connor Bedard ( to the Ducks)
You probably saw it coming but Connor Bedard in our heads will be the #1 pick to the Ducks as we think. But I think this player could be a better draft pick than McDavid, and Crosby. Even though he is small, he is a pretty physical player who has a insane shot that he can use on a number of goalies.
2. Adam Fantilli ( To the Chicago Blackhawks)
The Michigan prospect is one of the three to be up to win the Hobey Baker award for the College MVP. His life with team Canada has been awesome too. After winning the World Juniors back to back was really good for him to play with Connor Bedard and some other draft picks he could be playing with. You never really know what order he could be drafted in but I think he should be at least 2nd or 3rd to Bedard.
3. Mativie Michnov ( To the Blue Jackets)
The Russian power forward has a lot of potential in this league. With not getting to play in the WJC due to the War in Ukrain nothing can hold him back. Some people say he is going to be like Kirill Kaprizov or even Alex Ovechkin. Most people say he could thrive in the NHL especially when you are doing a lax style goal in any minor pro game you know something is up. Michnov has been going through rough times, his father was found dead in Russia, and all the drama going on in Russia.
4. Will Smith ( To Montreal Canadiens)
5. Leo Carlsson ( To Arizona)
This year's draft and draft lottery will be very cool. Not only because of Connor Bedard but because of some new teams like the Penguins in the mix for some good players. But anyway the moment the draft has ended we will drop a brand new mailbag for the new players and questions you have.
