The Pittsburgh Penguins and their problems

The Pittsburgh Penguins are one of the most struggling teams in the league in terms of players and stuff.

Even though they just beat Tampa 6-2 they still have some stuff to work on.

New GM?!

Ron Hextall just has not been fitting with some of the fans. Well Hextall tends to attract players who are older like Jeff Petry. ''I think we should have kept Jhon" Marino, not because he is skilled but because he is also young which is what the Pens need.

Fans are chanting " Fire Hextall" whenever we are getting smoked but it can't just be his fault. The players this team has are old and not worth a lot so most teams will not trade for them. But Luckily Ron put Kasperi on Wavers and the Blue have potentially picked him up.

But the main reason why this team is losing is just that they can't put the puzzle together.

When they rebuild

This rebuild could be a mess for a team like this or it could be a new era. Sidney Crosby will potentially retire in 4 years or a little more. But when he retires Malkin and Letang could retire, which would probably lead them to a rebuild mode. Rebuild might take a lot longer then most teams just because the Penguins only have a few younger guys in their lineup but they will get through. The only thing that could scar them is not having that trio ( Crosby, Malkin Letang) for a while.

What we know about their Trade deadline so far.

With the deadline coming up this could be a good time to blow up the hockey world with maybe a lot of trades. But the thing is nobody wants most of their players because they are old and it would be taking up cap space for the teams that have them. Here are my players I think we should trade, Jake Guentzul, Bryan Rust, and maybe Jason Zucker.
